Morocco has been able to develop over the years an aeronautical platform that meets the quality requirements of international competitiveness.

The country has been able to position itself as a competitive platform, with a skilled workforce. This allowed him to convince large global outsourcers, and attract more than 90 operators of which half has been installed in the last five years.

100% oriented towards export, the Moroccan aeronautical sector consists of three main activities namely: production, services and engineering. Eight sub-areas of activity employ nearly 75% of people in this industry: metalworking, electronics / avionics, services, manufacture of composite parts, maintenance / repair, technical support, maintenance / repair, substructures and assembly processing aids parts.

Today, thanks to the public authorities efforts to promote and trade associations, Morocco is among the most attractive global platforms for subcontractors and global aircraft manufacturers. Witness the implementation of major manufacturers between 2013 and 2014 as Bombardier, Cetim or LH Aviation.

With growth rates in double digits in recent years, the sector appears to be a growth driver for the Moroccan economy and one of the most promising global businesses.

Given this potential, the Acceleration of the Industrial Plan wants positioning Morocco no longer as a major player in outsourcing but as a manufacturer of complete systems.
